PRESCHOOL: |
Our Preschool programs encourage social, spiritual, emotional, physical and intellectual
growth and development.
|
K-3 (12:1 student/teacher ratio): |
Our K-3 program uses a thematic approach to learning in a Christian environment.
Cooking sessions, arts and crafts, poetry, music and fingerplays enhance our learning units.
We introduce letters, phonetic sounds and numbers. Students attend a music class, enjoy P.E.
and visit the library each week. Numerous hands on activities are offered each day.

K-4 (14:1 student/teacher ration): |
Our K-4 students use the Christian based ABEKA curriculum. Students develop language skills,
increase their listening skills, strengthen their motor skills and develop an appreciation
for God�s creation. Our program teaches recognition, auditory and visual perception of all
letters in the alphabet, and recognition, writing and concepts of numbers 1 - 20, and teaches
counting to 50. Color and shape recognition and learning to write their first name are also
taught. Our K-4 students learn their complete address, phone number, birthday, days of the
week, and months of the year. Students attend music, art, P.E. and library each week.

K-5 (16:1 student/teacher ratio): |
Our K-5 students also use the ABEKA curriculum as a guide for teaching math and phonics.
Reading skills are taught through a variety of methods, including: phonetic awareness,
sight work recognition and language development. Social studies and Science units are taught
through the use of weekly learning themes. K-5 students attend Spanish, computer, music, art,
P.E. and library each week.

LOWER SCHOOL (17:1 student/teacher ratio): |
The lower school consists of grades 1 - 6. The basic program centers on Language Arts,
Mathematics, Science, Bible, Spanish and Social Studies. Grades 1 - 4 are self-contained.
Grade 5 is departmentalized. Throughout the lower school, emphasis is placed on building
vocabulary, developing critical thinking skills, and challenging the student to reason logically.
Art, physical education, music, computer and library science enhance the elementary school's
curriculum. Students gain enrichment from field trips and special programs.

MIDDLE AND UPPER SCHOOL (20:1 student/teacher ratio): |
XYZ offers a curriculum that meets or exceeds all major university admission standards.
Our traditional college prep curriculum is enhanced by Advanced and Advance Placement (AP)
courses. The Advanced/AP programs are designed to meet the needs of academically talented and
motivated students who desire to maximize their potential by pursuing the most challenging
course of study available. Advanced Placement students may earn many of their freshmen college
credits while attending XYZ.

The testing program consists of the Stanford Achievement Tests, Explore, PLAN and
PSAT which adequately helps prepare our students for the ACT and SAT college entrance tests.
